Fresh Pond Almanac—October at the Meadow

Hello, all!

I've taken over the Fresh Pond almanac project from Claire this month, and going forward. It's been a joy to research and write so far. This month, the focus is on our gorgeous New England Aster and its visitors, as well as the ecologically important habitat that falling leaves produce. That's not to mention the gorgeous fall leaves that'll be visible at Fresh Pond this month. There's definitely plenty to see at Lusitania Meadow in October.
