Can Earth Studio images be used in YouTube videos?
In an informational video.
Is it possible to monetize YouTube videos using an Earth Studio image? Without violating copyright?

Hi Live UA, I believe that Google is okay with your using the 3D video composites in your YouTube videos.  I have been for a while now, though I don't have enough subscribers to monetize the channel.  So I'm sure that someone else will chime in here about that.  But I believe that YouTube just wants you to keep and use the attributions that they bake into each composite, usually defaulted to the bottom right of the screen.  I think people have gotten into hot water when they have removed the attributions and then used the video on their YouTube channel.  I hope that this is helpful to you.  : )

Thanks for getting back! For attribution, I know. Read the rules. I will not remove the attribution. But the rules are very slippery on commercial use. I don't want video monitization to be considered commercial use.
I have 2 channels, they are monetized, and I don't want to have problems

That's a good point.  I'm sure someone here will know.  I just think that they probably wouldn't mind because it's a Google product, and the attribution is promoting their brand.  But you are right to make absolutely sure before you do it.  Very smart!

My YouTube channel is 100% Google Earth Studio videos and it is monetized.  I was a bit surprised at that, however, I just followed the prompts YouTube sent me when I qualified.
