Hello everyone,
We are excited to share that we’ll be holding two Geo for Good Summits in 2026. By attending a Summit, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and share about the latest science and technical advances in sustainability, delve into Google’s supporting geospatial tools, and build together towards increased climate and nature impact.
This year we’re doing something a little different -- we plan to focus on specific impact partner communities that are driving critical high-impact work on carbon mitigation, climate adaptation, and nature protection and conservation. We’ll be hosting 2 separate summits. The first one, hosted at Google HQs in Mountain View, California, USA, is intended for Earth Engine partners whose work is having measurable climate impact. The second summit (location and dates to be announced soon) is intended for Earth users who are protecting, managing and restoring natural landscapes. Each event will host 50-75 participants.
Application Process: Because space is limited at the event venues, interested candidates will need to apply (and be accepted) to attend. Applicants must demonstrate how their work leads to planetary sustainability and human resilience around the world.
Cost: Free. Participants are expected to cover their own travel expenses.
