NEW FUSION MAPPER TUTORIALS
Remember the Spreadsheet Mapper? It still exists, but its big sister
is called Fusion Mapper. Do you have a lot of data that you want to
display in a table and be able to visualize on a map, but you don't
have programming skills to build a Maps API application? Enter Fusion
Tables, a lightweight database in the cloud that allows you to import
your .csv, Excel, Google Spreadsheets and KML files (up to a size
limit). With the click of a button, visualize the data as a point map
or an intensity map. You can also view your data in pie charts, line
bar graphs, motion charts, etc... but we're mapping geeks so we're
really excited about the geo-functionality that Fusion Tables offers.
In our excitement, we've collaborated with the Fusion Tables team and
posted three new Fusion Mapper tutorials on the Google Earth Outreach
website.
- Map sample data with Fusion Mapper
Create a map in Google Earth and Maps from a table of placemarks.
- Map your own data with Fusion Mapper
Upload your own data to Fusion Tables, and create a map of it in
Google Earth and Maps.
- Sharing a map from Fusion Mapper
Share a map you have made in Google Fusion Tables.
View these and all our tutorials on our Google Earth Outreach
Tutorials page.
