This is working correctly for me on a 'cold' install with previous versions of Charts Test removed from my iPhone or iPad.

Hmm. I deleted the old version 1.4. I down load this and then after I drag to iTunes Get Info still says version 1.4.

Try it on your device - you should see big buttons on the map as soon as it boots even if the version number doesn't show the update.

I'm getting a "The App Charts Test was not installed on iPhone "David"
because the signer was is not valid" error at the very end of setup
when I try to sync. This is on a brand new iPhone 4, my previous
versions were installed on my 3GS (which had water intrusion damage
from being on the boat). I'm not sure whether this is due to the new
phone or some other problem. I've been able to install betas with no
problems in the past, but I was getting the provisioning warning last
weekend on my 3GS phone before it died. I've removed the provisioning
from the General tab in Settings, but that doesn't seem to have solved
it. I've removed and installed the app several times in the past hour
or so trying different combinations of removing, adding, rebooting,
etc. Get Info says it's version 1.41 with today's date and a time
stamp of 22:4 (which is probably the last time I tried to install it).

I'm probably missing something obvious, but I haven't been able to
figure this out.

If this is a new iPhone, you will need to send us the UDID for the device before the beta releases will work for you. Then, the next build we do will work. Please send the ID to me directly, not the list.
