EarthNC location is not steady

i just returned from japan where EarthNC beta version 1.41 could not
find it's location correctly. Other gps app including Gaia did not
have the problem.

While standing still, EarthNC would show me jumping around and the
speed data was showing between 0 and 80 mph changing second by second.

As I said other gps apps acted normally. Now siting in Michigan the
location is still incorrect for EarthNC and correct for other gps
apps. I was going to reinstall the app but I thought I would report
the problem first in case you have some questions.

I can send screen shots showing the gps location +/-33 feet showing I
am in CA but I am actually in MI.

We discovered that bug also and it was fixed prior to shipping to Apple.  I believe we reposted the beta version also - you might try reinstalling to see if the problem is now gone.

I have the exact same problem. I have screen shots is that would help. It shows me up to 125 mph standing still.

I reinstalled from scratch and eben redownloaded. That didn't help.

Mike and Bill,

For a brief explanation, we have this piece of code that generates fake GPS readings, which we use extensively to test the app.

In the last beta, we forgot to flip the bit that turns that off before we posted it. 

Mike, I'm sorry this caught you unawares. We'll try to not do this again!
