Dear Festival friends,

The Earth Day Festival is less than six weeks away! Here's the latest on what we have in store for Saturday, April 25, rain or shine.

Dress Up, Join the Parade, and Get Rewarded
The Ideal Maine Social Aid and Sanctuary Band will be playing live for our All Species Parade at 10:30 AM. Dress up as your favorite creature — animal, plant, insect, fish, anything that lives on Earth — and march around the Harriet Beecher Stowe campus with your neighbors. The first 200 people who pre-register, dress up, and march will receive a goody bag that includes a $10 gift certificate to Wild Oats Bakery & Café. Pre-register at https://earthdayinbrunswick.com/participate/all-species-parade.html

A Full Day of Things to Do
The Festival runs from 10 AM to 3 PM, but the fun starts even earlier:

• 9:00 AM — Pop-up Farmers Market (runs until noon)
• 10:00 AM — Festival opens, food trucks all day
• 10:30 AM — All Species Parade with live music
• 11:30 AM — Nature hike from the Festival to the Bowdoin Pines and back
• 1:00 PM — Fun bike ride around Brunswick
• 2:30 PM — Wheelbarrow race finals (time trials happen all day — spread some mulch for the school garden, then race!)

You'll also find hands-on art projects, a bicycle blender (pedal to make a smoothie!), free bike tune-ups, solar and EV exhibits, educational talks, and much more. We're adding activities to the website as our participating organizations finalize their plans.

The Community Is Showing Up
More than 40 non-profit and governmental organizations are planning activities and exhibits. And please thank our 18 business sponsors who are making it possible for the Festival to be free for everyone.

Our major sponsors include Androscoggin Bank, Wild Oats Bakery & Café, Lee Auto Malls, Mere Point Oyster Co, The Cryer, First Light Energy, and Maine Solar Solutions. Additional support comes from All-Around Home Performance, EcoHeat Maine, Holman Homes, Katahdin Property Management, Morning Glory Natural Foods, Renewal by Andersen, ReVision Energy, Shared Solar Advisors, Skillins, The Mendall Financial Group LLC, and The Mix on Park Row. Thank you all!

Three Ways You Can Help Right Now

1. Volunteer — We need friendly people to help with setup, greeting, directing traffic, and takedown. It's a great way to be part of something new. Sign up at https://earthdayinbrunswick.com/volunteer/

2. Spread the word — Know someone who would enjoy a free, family-friendly outdoor festival? Please forward this email or tell them to visit https://earthdayinbrunswick.com/ for details.

3. Pre-register for the All Species Parade — Secure your spot for that $10 Wild Oats gift certificate!

For Businesses and Organizations
We still have room for a few more sponsors, exhibitors, and participating organizations. Key deadlines:
• March 30 — Table/tent space reservations and full-page Festival Program ads
• April 6 — Half-page and quarter-page Festival Program ads
