Hello Festival friends and happy MLK Day. Hope you're all enjoying this beautiful winter Monday holiday!
Last week our art judges met to select the winners for our poster art contest. I'm delighted to invite you to an award ceremony on Tuesday, February 3, at 11 am in the Morrell Meeting Room of Curtis Memorial Library where we'll be announcing and displaying the winning entries, congratulating the artists, and unveiling the official Festival poster that features the winning image.
Poster Art Contest Award Ceremony
Tuesday, February 3
11 am
Morrell Meeting Room, Curtis Memorial Library
23 Pleasant Street, Brunswick, Maine
Light refreshments will be served.
Major business sponsors will be listed by name on the Festival poster. We still have a few more of those available, and we need to get them locked down by February 9, so we can print posters and start distributing them in March.
If any of your friends and family own or manage a business, please tell them about the Festival! By sponsoring the Festival, local Maine businesses can be seen, valued, and remembered by loyal customers who seek to support Earth-friendly enterprises.
Individuals can also support the Festival financially, by making a gift of any amount.
To learn more about how to keep the Festival free for the public and participating non-profit organizations, please see
https://earthdayinbrunswick.com/sponsor/
The deadline for major sponsors is February 9. The deadline for exhibiting at the Festival or having a full-page ad in the Festival Program is March 30. For other business sponsorships or individual gifts, there is no deadline (but the sooner a business sponsor commits, the more time we have to promote them).
For the Earth we share,
Fred
P.S. If you have ideas about a specific business or person who might like to sponsor the Festival, please let me know. Thank you!
