Hello Festival friends!
Happy Presidents' Day!
More organizations and people are making plans to participate in the Festival. I hope you'll be able to be part of the fun on Saturday, April 25, from 10 am to 3 pm, rain or shine, at Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary School in Brunswick.
Making sure everyone gets invited to participate is the first focus of today's update.
Does your favorite non-profit or governmental organization know about the Festival? Will they be there? To find out, please visit
https://earthdayinbrunswick.com/participate/February 28 is the deadline for educational, charitable, environmental, or governmental organizations to be guaranteed a table or tent space. (After the 28th they can still apply, but we might run out of space.) There is no charge for not-for-profit groups to participate in the Festival. Our business sponsors and generous individuals are paying the Festival expenses so it can be free for the public and the non-profit sector.
You can help make the Festival great by spreading the word: we want every environmental group in midcoast Maine to be at the Festival to share knowledge and make it more interesting! We've tried to reach out to every single one, but we know we've probably missed a few.
The second focus of today's update is our website.
We've been adding information to
www.EarthDayinBrunswick.comWhat do you think? Is anything missing or unclear? What would you change?
If you're able to check it out, we'd really appreciate any feedback you can share that will help more people discover the Festival and make it better for everyone involved!
Stay warm & enjoy the holiday,
Fred
