Hello Festival friends!
Hope everyone had a nice winter solstice. Sunnier days ahead, in the northern hemisphere!
I'm pleased to announce that ReVision Energy is joining Androscoggin Bank, Lee Toyota, Morning Glory Natural Foods, and The Mix on Park Row to sponsor our Festival. Several additional solar companies have expressed interest in sponsoring, too. Our aim is to provide the best opportunity for anyone who is considering going solar in the greater Brunswick area to see all their options and get all their questions answered, simply by coming to the Festival.
If you would like to support the Festival financially, or know of any business that would like to become a sponsor, please let me know. We have a sponsorship for every budget, ranging from $7.50 to $7,500.
In addition to sponsors, I'm reaching out to non-profit and governmental organizations and environmentally-minded individuals who might like to participate in the Festival at no cost to provide a fun or educational activity. I'm scheduling info sessions for exhibitors, participants, and potential volunteers in mid-January; I'll send details about those sessions in my next update.
I'm delighted that the Rotary Club of Brunswick will be participating in the Festival, among other groups. If you are involved with any organization that should know about the Festival, please let me know so I can be sure to contact them.
Until January 10 we'll be accepting entries in our poster art contest. We'll be announcing the winners of that contest and unveiling our official Earth Day Festival poster on February 2. Thank you to those of you who have volunteered to be judges; we're still looking for one or two more. Let me know if you're interested.
If you celebrate Christmas, have a very Merry one!
