We've received twelve entries so far in our poster art contest. If you can think of anyone who might like to enter this contest, please have them send in an entry by this Saturday, January 10. You can share the attached promo image or just direct people to the poster contest page on our website at
https://earthdayinbrunswick.com/poster/Some of us will get together next week to pick our winners. If you'd like to be part of that process, just let me know! We'll share the results privately with everyone who entered the contest, and then get to work creating our official poster. We'll announce our winners publicly on Tuesday, February 3.
1) I've updated our Earth Day Every Day Resource Guide for Brunswick & Beyond, which you can find at
https://earthdayinbrunswick.com/guide/. After we have picked our art contest winner, we'll add graphics to our website and this Guide, and then start promoting it in the twelve towns that are our target market for the Festival.
2) Speaking of our target market, these are the towns where we will be distributing printed materials and focusing our promotions: Bath, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Brunswick, Durham, Freeport, Harpswell, Lisbon, Pownal, Topsham, West Bath, and Woolwich
3) Each month we'll have a series of info sessions, one in person and three via Zoom, for everyone who wants to learn more about the Festival, share ideas, and help to achieve our goals of bringing our community together to celebrate Earth and explore ways to protect our natural environment. It would be wonderful if you could attend one of these sessions and bring a friend!
