Hey Current Corps and Alumni,
Forterra shared with us this livability survey of millennials in the Puget Sound region. If you still live in the Puget Sound region take this 15 minute survey and contribute to research about young adults in this area. Looks like you can also win Bumbershoot tickets. Neat!
Hope you are all well,

Subject: Livability Survey for Millennials - please pass to the Corps!

Hi EarthCorps heroes and heroines! I’m passing along this survey produced by EMC in the hopes that you’ll be willing to take 10 minutes to fill it out. As Millennials from all over the world who are rocking restoration, we would love your input on how you live, work and play here in the PNW.
Many thanks,
Lila Trowbridge
Forterra
You’ve probably noticed the surge of young people around here. Just in King County, there are 220,000 millennials — many who are new to the area. And, nobody’s every surveyed this demographic in particular.
That’s why we’re excited about a big community survey of millennials that’s being done by EMC Research, a major polling firm. Forterra is working to make this place sustainable and fair for everyone, and this survey is going to yield great insights about this region.
Newcomer or native, we’re interested in what this generation thinks about living here. What issues are top-of-mind for them? Affordability? Social justice? Work stress? Something else? What causes inspire them? What do they do in their spare time? Do they plan to stay in the region?
There are some really important and provocative questions in the survey. We’re hoping to spread the word with anyone (you, colleagues, and friends) between the ages of 20 and 35, to encourage them to take the survey. It’s only about 15 minutes long, and as an incentive, five people who take the survey will win a 3-Day Bumbershoot pass — which given the array of acts this year is a pretty amazing prize.
It’s easy to get started; just click here.
Thanks, and please help spread the word!
