Hello!
Do you like hiking, backpacking, mountain biking and/or snowshoeing? Do you want to share your passion for the outdoors with kids from around Seattle? Then you should think
about becoming a volunteer for
Seattle ICO!! (Inspiring Connections Outdoors, formally known as
Inner City Outings)
I’ve been volunteering with Seattle ICO for the past 3 years and LOVE it! Once a month I get to take 4-6th graders on outdoor adventures.
This Thursday, Seattle ICO is having our 25th Anniversary party at Georgetown Brewing. If you want to get involved with this awesome organization, come to the
party and learn more! Information below.

Dear friend,
Let's celebrate
Seattle ICO's 25th Anniversary together
Thursday, August 4th at Georgetown Brewing Co!
Now that we've successfully completed our annual overnight trips and another year of amazing outings, we wanted to take this opportunity to say
Thank You for the incredible support you've shown Seattle ICO by throwing a party for you.
Everyone is welcome to join us! Bring your friends, grab a
beer and jam out to the soulful sounds of local band, Planet Fly -- all while supporting a great cause! Your ticket includes one beer (or non-alcoholic beverage)
-- not to mention a ridiculous amount of great energy -- with all proceeds benefiting Seattle ICO! Big ups to Manny and Georgetown Brewing Co. for making this possible.

Seattle ICO wouldn’t be alive today if it wasn’t for the dedicated and fun-loving folks who serve several hundred of Seattle’s youth each year, providing opportunities to experience, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. Net proceeds of tickets and additional beer
sales all benefit Seattle ICO.
When:
August 4th @ 6:30 PM (All ages event)
Where:
Georgetown Brewery
Why: Because it's time for a celebration!

Make a What Seattle ICO Means to Me haiku to win a mystery prize. Here's an example from our very own haiku master Meira Lifson:
Stinky boots and socks
I hope I don't dent the van
inspiring the kids
Prizes awarded to categorical winners (funniest, most inspiring, etc.)
With love,
Seattle ICO
