Hello everyone!

I have a student who is using a Google for EDU account in the school domain.  He created a Tour Builder file and is not able to add any photos to his locations.  He is tried to create a new tour, a new device, and it does not work.  He is the only student in the class having this issue.  However, it only seems to work on a Windows computer.

Check out the images.  When he clicks on 'add photo' it prompts him to sign in.  When he signs in, he gets the error message.

Any ideas on how to fix this?  Any suggestions is appreciated.

Thanks,

Kim

Hi! I'd clear the cache on whichever browser the student is using.  I'd contact your IT dept and ask them to check the way the student is being filtered within the district. Sometimes, IP addresses, wireless and wired connections are filtered differently and some links necessary for images to show are blocked or held by Firewalls.   I would try to attempt to do the same on a device that is not connected to the district's wifi/wired internet- if the student is successful, then it may be an indicator that there is an issue in the district's network that is preventing this from happening. These would be my initial troubleshooting steps.  Hope this helps!

Hi Kim, I'm curious if this issue is still persisting, or if you found a solution? I'd be curious to hear what worked! (Or suggestions from other community members). Thanks!

Hi Lina,

I really didn't find a solution, just a workaround. The problem didn't happen on a Windows computer, so I told the student to use the teachers computer or his home computer to insert the pictures into his tour.

It definitely didn't work on the Chromebook. There were no issues with his GAFE account and I tried everything that was suggested in this thread.

My tech department was no help and told me to contact Google support. Lol.

I hope this helps.  Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Kim
