Future Webinar on migrating your Tour Builder tours to Google Earth

Hi everyone,

When Tour Builder launched as a beta project in 2013, Google wanted to make it easier for people to tell place-based stories by adding photos and videos to a sequence of locations on Earth. We are thrilled to share that you can take your Tour Builder tours to the next level by migrating them to Google Earth. On December 9th, the Google Earth Outreach team will host an online training where we will share tips and tricks on how to migrate your tours to one of the world's most comprehensive 3D maps available, and see how tours transform in a new light, or height, with truly immersive and detailed imagery! 

Note, this session will not address the recent news of the sunset of Google Expeditions or Tour Creator, rather focus purely on Tour Builder and creation tools in Google Earth.

Hi Lucio, 

Great question! Unfortunately the webinar will only be offered in English, and live-captioning is not available. (Meaning if you tuned in to the live broadcast time - Dec 9 at 9:00-9:30 AM PST - you could not see captions). The good news is that anyone can register to watch on-demand following that date/time and utilize YouTube's closed captioning feature for their preferred language. :) 

1) In the video player, click CC button to turn on captions, or click the gear next to it to enter settings

2) Click subtitles/CC and select your language. 

I hope this helps! In addition, this Tour Builder FAQ page should be easily translated via your web browser, and contains the same information that will be presented during the webinar (i.e how to export Tourbuilder projects, import to Earth, etc).
