We are working on a project for a yet to be realized website. The goal is to be running Google Earth, and have the various locations of coal plants, ocean acidification, etc., along with quoted stats, from the .kmz / .kml files show up on the globe - but not run as a "tour". This is not a commercial business site.

I am quite new at this, and have scoured the Google tutorials for hours, and experimented with the code.
I can get the Earth to run, but not my locations.

 - so my questions are :

- do I need to receive a licence from Google

- do I need to code in each point on the .kml spread sheet in the Earth html

- Is my idea do-able

The way we'd like it to show up on our "Earth" website, is how it shows up when the file is opened when google earth is installed on the users computer or mobile device. The file data, points & quotes are displayed on the Earth.

Thanks for any assistance.
