gps and google earth

i want to interface a micro controller based gps with Google earth.

i am going to build a project for locating vehicals and sending its location to computer.

can i do it? easily

yeah it is doable...but you should go with google maps 3d ...google earth might not be support on cell phones...plus you should go with android now..iphone maps does not have the lastest update (apple and google hates each other and apple is building their own mapping app right now)
