After years of effort we are finally able to advertise permanent teaching posts with hiring rules relevant to Art & Design ! This ad is in Dawn Advertising pg 9 July 14, 2013  ( the symbolism of Bastille Day should not be lost! )

I hope you will apply and encourage other academic minded artists, architects, film makers and designers to apply. Existing visiting faculty should also apply. 

Having been privileged to see the department grow over the last 14 years into one of the most popular programmes at the University of Karachi; privileged to be part of the creative development of the many young men and women who join the department, many of whom may otherwise  never have discovered their creative abilities. I can say that it has been a transforming and unique experience. 

The university has allocated 6 acres of land for expansion and work has begun on this.  With you or those you recommend on the team, we can turn the blocks and mortar into a dynamic professional programme that would be at the forefront of social change.
