You are invited to the Crops in Pots Stall which is presenting Organic Kitchen Gardening for the first time at the DHA-HSP Flower Show, being held during 27 February to 02 March 2014.
Crops in Pots promotes Organic kitchen gardening throughout
Pakistan. It also works in schools and communities to promote organic
practices and raise awareness about environmental concerns.
Organic Kitchen gardeners grow the freshest, healthiest Organic
vegetables for household consumption, in their home, backyard,
balcony, rooftop and vertical gardens. This is an URGENT need as many
vegetables available in Karachi are grown in farms fed by sewage
water.
Plants of vegetables grown Organically of 35 different kinds will
be available for sale. Many of these are grown from Organic Heirloom
seed varieties.
In the Organic method of growing vegetables, NO artificial
fertilizer (urea), pesticides or chemicals are used to grow the
plants. USDA Certified Organic Seeds will also be available for
sale.
Heirloom Organic seeds are authentic historic seeds which are NOT
GM or genetically modified. GM foods and seeds marketed by giant
global companies, including to Pakistan, are banned in Europe for
health concerns.
