Did anyone come up with a more recent sighting of the family Bible in
Australia either?
Susan

Back from my overseas trip, but definitely not on top of things.
Have been in touch with Margrett from New Zealand who has just sent a letter
off to see if she can locate the family Bible. It appears that it may be
somewhere in the hands of descendants of Archibalds third wife Kit.So heres
hoping that it can still be found.
Eight weeks was along time to be away from home and a lot can happen. Our
daughter Catherine who was also travelling at the same time as us, was
hospitalised twice in the ten weeks she was away. We lost a dear neighbour,
who had dropped us to the airport, a dear friend we saw in early January in
England died soon after we saw him, his brother in New Zealand predeceased
him by about 10 days.
All in all still an amazing trip but very exhausting traveling with a four
year old. Would love to do some of the same things again but in a European
summer.
Looking forward to hearing some more from family folks out there, kind
regards Vicky Holland Kingston Tasmania
I have managed to find a photo of James McDonald Earsman [18M] which I
have posted in the files section.
