We are planning to start a Re-Bike program, some call these
earn-a-bike, bike coops, Bike Kitchens or Recycle-a-bike, where
donated and junk bikes are made available in a class setting for kids
(but why not women, people in recovery, and others too?) to learn to
fix up, use and eventually own. We don't have a space secured yet -
working on a site near the downtown ballpark - but when this gets
going, it might be a something that GED could be involved with....?
