Understanding Bicycle Transportation.

You are invited. Free. April 20 all day.

This training is aimed at Caltrans staff; to help them be more aware of bicycling when they plan, build, operate roads that bikes are not banned from using (freeways). The two people doing the training are people I know and trust to do a good job. This should be useful for any of you wanting to know more about types of facilities and ways to accommodate bicycling. (AND, it will give you bicyclists opportunities to meet/network with local Caltrans staff for future contacts about bicycling stuff…)

Apparently there is room for a couple more people so I have been asked to invite folks.

It’s at Caltrans 8:30 am to 4:30 Garcia Room – in the Old Town area. Just show up by 8:20.
