EMAIL:
I wanted to share the launch of a new academic publishing consortium, Play Story Press. In a nutshell, this is a new initiative from the crew behind Carnegie Mellon's ETC Press (publisher of the Professors at Play PlayBook). PSP represents a consortium of organizations interested in academic publishing and new models for the dissemination of scholarship. You can find more about press here:

Eagle-eye readers of the Professors at Plat AI PlayBook will notice that it was published by Play Story Press, under the Professors at Play Publications at Play imprint. So, Professors at Play is officially a part of the consortium as well!

These new books were just released and should be of interest to many in our community:

The Psychgeist of Pop Culture: Bluey, edited by Kelli Dunlap, PsyD

The Psychgeist of Pop Culture: The Umbrella Academy, edited by Arienne Ferchaud, PhD

ToDiGRA: Nordic DiGRA Special Issues, edited by Lina Eklund, Björn Sjöblom, Jon Back.

We are quite excited to be a part of the consortium and feel like this is a positive step in making scholarship more widely available. Please share!
