Hello,

In the earlyaccess page, Korean KoPub and Jeju fonts are distributed
under SIL OFL.

But I can't find SIL OFL on their official distribution web sites [1]
[2]. They have their own more restrictive licenses. KoPub has its
official license document in Korean and it is definitely not SIL OFL. In
case of Jeju fonts, the web site has simple and ambiguous lines of
permission and restriction statement which is not OFL.

Are they really under SIL OFL? Or does Google contact the copyright
holder to make them distributed under OFL?

Hi!
Yes, Google contacted the copyright holder to get permission to distribute them under OFL.

The Early Access ZIP doesn't contain a license file, so I've reported that to the engineering team; the license file is in the http://code.google.com/p/googlefontdirectory/ repository, though.

Cheers

Great job!

But why KoPub Batang only? KoPub fonts consist of two families, KoPub
Batang and KoPub Dotum. But only KoPub Batang is in the early access
page.

To avoid misunderstanding, please document the fact that Google got
explicit permission from the copyright holders.

good news :D

I had notice one more problem ;)

In original fonts distributed over http://kopus.org,
the family names are KoPubBatang Pro and KoPubDotum Pro. where's "Pro"?

May I contact with the contributor about this issue?

TIA

KoPub Dotum needs to be added as well as KoPub Batang.
Please proceed!
