Allo Fiber coming soon

Hi all,

You may have seen that Allo is planning to start construction to install fiber internet, TV and phone in the neighborhood. I'm meeting with them on Tues afternoon around 2pm to discuss the details, and I'll share more information as I have it. 

If you have any questions you'd like me to ask them, feel free to send them my way. Anyone who'd like to come over for the meeting is welcome as well (although completely not necessary). We're meeting at my house, 190 Cessna at 2pm - just let me know to expect you.

Hi team, 

met with Allo today. 4 key things to note:

1. they're still waiting on the Town to issue the permit, so construction will likely begin in mid/late January and take a few weeks. They'll contact us again before they begin.

2. there's no plan for any road closures or disruption of the new asphalt. They'll be laying the cable on top of the existing Comcast lines along the roadside, and using a horizontal drilling technique to go under the road for houses on both sides. 

3. for more information on the process and pricing, check out https://www.allocommunications.com/construction/ where there's some cool videos of the construction happening. 

4. pricing starts at $79/mo for internet only, and then you can add on cable TV, local TV, and landline phone service. Head over to https://www.allocommunications.com/locations/erie/ and enter your address to see the options and pre-order service

Otherwise, watch your snail mail for flyers for more information. the flyers will have a QR code where you can submit questions/concerns before, during, or after the construction process. I also have the business card of the main project coordinator if you'd like an introduction for more detailed questions.
