Hi all,
Sorry for the delay in sending this message, life gets in the way sometimes. :P Anyway, good news is that the recording, meeting minutes, ballots, and sign-in sheet have all been uploaded to the website. We were able to successfully make quorum this year (hurray!) with 17 folks in attendance at the Community Center and another 10 online - that means we were able to (re)elect the 3 open board positions for this year and conduct an official meeting. Board positions have changed this year and are also updated on the website
  • Rich will continue as President
  • Johan will replace Tim as Vice President
  • Laurren will continue as Secretary
  • Richard will takeover from Laurren as Treasurer
  • Sue, Dan, and Tim will continue on as Members at Large for 2025
In addition to our normal business, we did collect some votes on the proposed ballot measures. As a reminder, we cannot change our governing docs without a simple majority vote of members, but we can at least see where the sentiment is. The tally for anyone interested was:
  • B1 Annual Meeting in Summer - 17 FOR and 0 AGAINST
  • B2 Virtual Meetings - 14 FOR and 3 AGAINST
  • C1 Maps in CC&Rs - 5 FOR and 12 AGAINST
  • C2 Automatic Dissolution clause - 4 FOR and 12 AGAINST
Based on these initial polling results, the trends seem clear and I'll be making the recommendation to the Board that we do move forward with a Special Session later this summer to obtain a full vote.

Lastly, there are 3 draft letters available on the website which we'll be sending to the Town on 3/15. These letters are in regard to 3 zoning and enforcement issues around the neighborhood we'd like the Town to take action on. If you have any suggestions/comments, feel free to make them in the docs directly or contact secr...@eahoa.com so I can incorporate your feedback before sending.

Best,
Laurren Kanner

As i just replied to Jennelle,

Hi Jennelle,

2 obvious concerns:

a. access? some of the options they have mentioned previously - easement off of Bonanza or purchasing an adjacent residential property and making it a 'thoroughfare' into the area;

b. increased traffic with each of the above access options, as well as what is the increase in traffic going to be with the various use options (agriculture, solar farm, hangars)?

I see pretty presentations, but a lot of missing 'due diligence'...

I don't know how many of us have leach fields out there, but I know Larry and I do, so they'll have to move those. And technically they're inside out property boundaries in those rough sketches

Sadly, I'm  not in town tomorrow night.  But it would be great if someone goes can remind the civil of these glaring concerns.  I'll definitely be reminding them of these concerns via email comment
