Dear Erie Airpark Homeowners,

In response to your request, I am providing information that may be of interest to the community.

At the October 16th, 2025 AEDAB meeting, Town staff presented a draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for a development partner at Erie Municipal Airport (KEIK). The Town will be seeking a qualified partner to develop, construct, lease, and maintain new hangar facilities under a long-term ground lease with the Town. The project includes the construction of new hangars north of the existing terminal building, as well as, the redevelopment and expansion of existing hangars west of the terminal building to better serve growing demand and improve the quality of infrastructure and services available to Erie’s aviation community. The closed crosswind runway is not included in the RFP’s scope.
