Westarted this journey in the small city of Gothenburg back in 2001. Our Swedish roots remind us every day to be good to the Earth and to each other. It's not just about organic cotton and transparent processes; it's about building a community that cares.

So here's the deal: every pair of jeans we make is designed to be your 'forever jeans.' They're the kind you'll want to repair, not replace. The kind you'll hand down to your kids, who'll hand them down to theirs. We're not just making clothes; we're creating future classics. Clothes that become vintage, instead of garbage.

With our range of men's jeans, made from organic cotton only, we aim to cover more or less all bases in terms of fit. From tight to slim jeans made with stretch denim to more regular and loose fits made with rigid denim. If you're unsure what to look for, find the perfect pair of men's straight-leg jeans, tapered or loose fit jeans.

We're not just in the business of selling jeans. We're in the business of making them a part of your life, for the long haul. Our wear-and-tear philosophy is all about making sure your jeans live as long as you do, maybe even longer! It's like having a second skin that just gets better with age.

Nudie Jeans is sold in over 50 countries worldwide. We currently have 30 Repair Shops, spread out across Europe, the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. You'll find our headquarters in our hometown, Gothenburg, Sweden.

But Nudie Jeans, a global leader in sustainable fashion, is looking at ways to make use of second-quality jeans to maintain the highest quality of its products, while reducing the environmental impact of the production process.

A second phase will focus on developing an upcycling and remanufacturing scheme with local designers in Tunisia and will explore the possibilities for recycling post-industrial cutting waste from jeans production.

In the heart of the city center of Gothenburg, you will find the new Nudie Jeans store. We met with the store manager, Clara Trnmarck, who enthusiastically shared her experience with their new mobile storage system from Bruynzeel.

In Nudie Jeans previous' store, they had their storage in their basement and only having traditional static shelves on the shop floor. With the new system, Nudie Jeans not only optimize valuable retail space but they also improve the customer experience. They can now display their entire stock of jeans conveniently behind the cashier's counter. This not only eliminates the need for a separate stock somewhere else, but also creates a more streamlined shopping environment. Nudie Jeans employees can now fully engage with their customers, not leaving them behind to find correct sizes in a basement. This has also benefitted the store in the amount of thefts. They never loose contact with the customer, which also enriches the customer experience.

From a sustainability perspective, the collaboration with Nudie Jeans and Bruynzeel aligns seamlessly. Nudie Jeans has already been recognized for their sustainable initiatives, offering free jeans repair services to extend the lifespan of their products. This resonates with Bruynzeel's commitment to environmental responsibility where Bruynzeel stands out as the sole climate-neutral mobile shelving supplier in the industry. With focus on achieving net-zero emissions by 2045, backed by science-based targets, Bruynzeel is ranked among the top leading sustainable companies according to EcoVadis. The mobile storage system is constructed using the most environmentally friendly materials available, furthering Nudie Jeans' dedication to reducing their ecological footprint. By choosing this system, Nudie Jeans has not only optimized their operational efficiency and customer experience but also contributed to a more sustainable future. Nudie Jeans is known for low impact, high quality classic denim that appeals to all. The ultimate everyday brand to wear daily.

Nudie Jeans is a Swedish denim house, founded in Gothenburg, in 2001. Over the past two decades they have become one of the most well-known names in the quality denim world, establishing their brand with a wear-and-tear philosophy that seriously focuses on well-worn repaired garments, as well as their insistence on organic cottons and transparent eco-friendly production processes. Nudie Jeans offers a huge collection of both core and seasonally unique jeans, with a great variety of fits, and some of the most authentic stonewashing on the market. With cemented partnerships with European and Japanese mills, Nudie has the ability and the knowhow to produce some of the world's favourite jeans.

Nudie Jeans are proud to maintain the tradition of denim; upholding its quality, history, and unique characteristics. Amongst all of the world's denim makers, you would be hard pressed to find another putting as much effort into environmentally conscious practices as Nudie Jeans are. Their entire supply line and their manufacturing processes are all transparently detailed in their yearly sustainability reports, complete with detailed numbers to prove their dedication. This is particularly respectable given the great amounts of potential waste that can be produced by inconsiderate denim production.

We talk about the origins of the brand, about what makes it different from other denim brands; we talk about organic cotton, about repairing jeans, and the challenges of being a gateway brand for denimheads.

Nudie Jeans is a Swedish denim brand that was founded in 2001. It has stores in 30 countries around the world with concept stores in Gothenburg, Stockholm, London, Zurich, Barcelona, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Osaka, Tokyo, Nagoya and Los Angeles.

Nudie's passion for jeans has had great success in Sweden and the world. In 2015 it was therefore time to gear up for an ERP system that could better meet the demands of the fashion industry and the growing needs of the company. Infor M3 was the system they decided would best suit their needs. Thanks to good system and industry knowledge together with experience from many other similar installations in the fashion industry, Columbus was trusted with the project of implementing the system in 2015 and with the upgrade in 2017.

To be able to smoothly manage new markets, suppliers, and partners is a necessity for any company growing globally. When an order is made from Sweden to a supplier in another country, and the products must be delivered to a third, you need a business system that also functions globally. It must have support for managing value added tax and keep functioning today and tomorrow, regardless how the organization and its logistics change.

Another fashion-specific factor is their short product life cycles. Short seasons demand efficient management of entire product groups. Small errors can have a negative impact on profitability and cause dissatisfaction among both retailers and their customers.

Nudie Jeans has upgraded the system following available new versions and using the additional features to Version 13.4, since in the meantime they run users in about 30 in stores and 8 divisions in Europe, USA and Australia. The servers they own are hosted by an external technology provider.

Nudie Jeans sees this upgrade as a good opportunity to switch to a supported version until at least 2019. If other functions, such as workflow, are needed Nudie Jeans is prepared to connect to Infor's own technical platform XI. There are at present no plans to upgrade to the Cloud Suite.

What was learned during the project?

- A clear internal project team with clear milestones has to be nominated

with documenting what is expected of project participants.

- Reconciliation meetings have to take place internally every other week with instructions what will be done next time.

- Have gradually introduced reconciliation meetings with Columbus consultants to optimize the work on open issues.

- Early contact with external suppliers to ensure resources

The company Nudie Jeans was founded 2001 in Gtheborg by Maria Erixon Levin and owned by Maria Erixon Levin, Joakim Levin and Palle Stenberg.

That includes the offer of free repair services in Repair Shops, and they as well sell Nudie Jeans as second hand products and recycle worn out products. They run their own online shop and the products are sold in 1500 multi brand retailer doors worldwide. Products are made with 100% organic cotton denim since 2012, with social responsibility and transparent production. It is a premium denim brand for the everyday user.
