Dear all,

We have extended the deadline for submissions for GLEA 2026 in Freiburg, Germany, on July 16–17.

The new deadline is April 9, 2026 (in lockstep with our friends from the European association, EALE).

For submissions, please see the Call for Papers (also in the attachment) and use our submission form. We especially encourage legal scholars, criminologists, and early-career researchers (at PhD level) to submit their law-and-economics related work. We also welcome proposals for organized law-and-policy sessions.

On the day before the conference, July 15, GLEA again offers a methods workshop on "LLMs for Large-Scale Data Collection". The workshop is meant to introduce you to build LLM data collection pipelines, focusing on evaluation metrics and optimization against them. Registration for the workshop is already open, see again the Call for Papers.

We are very much looking forward to your submissions and to seeing you in Freiburg!

Dear all,

Apologies for an instantaneous correction: The new deadline is April 8 (not April 9, as the previous message indicated).

Kind regards,

Andreas Engert
