Gerzensee law & economics courses 2026: law & finance of venture capital; cross-border effects; environmental regulation

Dear all,

 

I am involved in organizing law & economics courses for doctoral students and faculty members at the Study Center Gerzensee, a beautiful conference center near Berne, Switzerland. The courses are heavily subsidized by the Swiss National Bank. The 2026 Gerzensee law & economics courses will address the following topics:

 

• Law and Finance of Venture Capital, taught by Robert Bartlett (Stanford): February 9-13, 2026 (application deadline: January 5, 2026)
• Economic Analysis of Law with Cross-Border Effects, taught by Kevin Davis (NYU): May 4-8, 2026 (application deadline: March 8, 2026)
• Law and Economics of Environmental Regulation, taught by Richard Revesz (NYU): June 15-19, 2026 (application deadline: April 26, 2026)
