Call for Papers: GLEA 2026 in Freiburg, Germany, July 16–17

Dear friends of law and economics, 

The German Law and Economics Association cordially invites you to submit papers or other contributions for its 23rd annual meeting in Freiburg, Germany, on July 16–17. 

The deadline for submissions is March 29, 2026. We again particularly encourage submissions by young researchers, from legal scholars, and criminologists.  

The call for papers can be found here and as a PDF in the attachment. As in previous years, a pre-conference methods workshop will be offered on July 15, this year on "LLMs for Large-Scale Data Collection".

GLEA 2026 will be kindly hosted by the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law in Freiburg, Germany. 

We are very much looking forward to your submissions and to seeing you in Freiburg in July.
