AND UNIVERSITY OF WARSAW

CALL FOR PAPERS

                                             DEADLINE: APRIL 1, 2026

The European Association of Law and Economics (EALE) welcomes submissions for its 43rd annual conference on September 17-18, 2026. The conference is organized by the Warsaw School of Economics and the University of Warsaw.

More information at eale.org and submission here (by April 1, 2026)

All topics within law and economics are welcome. You can submit up to two papers but present only one. If you have two papers accepted, a co-author may present the second. Policy papers are eligible if they deal with very important and timely issues. Submissions must be original and not yet published. Submitting a draft is possible, but we will give preference to full papers. It is possible to submit a proposal of an organized session consisting of three papers and three presenters. In this case, please, firstly, submit the papers individually via the link above, and secondly, the chair of the session should send the complete session proposal, including the session title, list of presenters in the proposed order, titles of papers, and their id numbers from the system, by email directly to the Local Organizing Committee (eale...@wne.uw.edu.pl).

The Göran Skogh Award will be awarded to the most promising paper presented at the EALE Conference by a young scholar. To qualify for the award, all of the authors must have obtained their PhD later than May 2024. The winner will receive € 1,000, to be shared among the authors.

Presenters must confirm their attendance by registering to the conference. To minimize the number of empty slots at the conference, papers will be excluded if presenters miss the registration deadline.

Registration fee (including EALE membership): € 325 for regular participants and € 160 for Ph.D. students.

Hotel reservations: Warsaw is a busy city, especially in September. Please, do not leave accommodation to the last minute. Guidance on accommodation for the conference will be published at eale.org
