Afghan support in school

Hi all, 

My school is in Ealing borough and although we have not had any new arrivals from Afghanistan, it's been suggested to organise  "some sort of cultural evening/ meeting for Afghan students in the light of the situation in Afghanistan"...

I know of a few contacts in Ealing, but has anyone organised ANY events in their schools?
