PG Dip EAL Admissions Open for 2026-27

The new Post Graduate Diploma in EAL at Oxford opened its doors to its first cohort of students this year. EAL professionals from all over the world are now enjoying a practice oriented master's level course that provides solid grounding in EAL-related research and evidence. The course is taught mostly online (with an orientation week in Oxford during the summer holidays) and is designed specifically to be taken by currently practising educators, allowing for careful reflection on current practice and  immediate implementation of learning. 

It consists of two taught modules and a dissertation project that sees students addressing a real-world issue in their own contexts. The teaching is a combination of online line lectures, focussed reading, and supporting activities, and Oxford's traditional face to face tutorial system.

Admissions are now open for the academic year 2026-27.
