Dear colleague,

We are currently recruiting for the M.Ed. Bilingualism in Education programme run by the University of Birmingham in partnership with NASSEA for students starting in  September 2018.

This successful Master’s programme has been running for 17 years and offers Master’s level qualifications for specialist teachers of English as an additional language, teachers of EAL learners in schools in the UK and in British and international schools overseas and other education professionals with suitable qualifications and experience.

The programme can be followed to attain a Postgraduate Certificate (1 year), a Postgraduate Diploma (2 years) or a Master of Education degree (3 years). The programme is mainly by distance learning with tutorials each half-term. There is also a course induction day and a Bilingualism in Education conference with a free place for each student.

Please find attached information about the partnership programme. You can apply through the University of Birmingham website http://www.birmingham.ac.uk/postgraduate/courses/distance/edu/bilingualism-education.aspx

I hope you will take the opportunity to join this well-established and respected programme.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,

Melanie
