We would like to take this opportunity to share the exciting news of Roz Carter MBE receiving the Peoples'  Award for her dedicated community service as Head of Service for HLS. This prestigious  award was presented by Seema Malhotra MP in  Westminster Palace at  the House of Commons.

We have some more exciting news to share! We are in the early stages of a collaboration between HLS and Heddle, a new EAL community platform dedicated to supporting EAL teachers. We both believe that every teacher should feel confident teaching EAL pupils. We love that Heddle shares our commitment to providing high-quality resources, expert training, and practical strategies to teachers, ensuring they have the tools they need to help EAL pupils thrive.
