Good evening.

I came across this very old webpage from 2013, and thought the group might also find the EAL case studies listed interesting.

We were involved with some of these schools at the time and earlier as were also the EAL Academy and Hounslow Language Service. All three of us are still around to provide support, but sadly the EU funding is no more. It would be interesting to know which schools are still influenced by these projects and whether there was any lasting impact. There's a little project for colleagues in higher education! I've just recently discovered that a project in higher education to support multilingual language learning that  I started in 1969 is still thriving; which is very cheering!

Thank you for sharing that, Stuart.  It's always nice to hear about positive outcomes which persist well beyond the programme end date.

Re: English Key to Integration, it was really valuable to see what can be achieved with not so huge amounts of funding. Also reassuring to know that the organisations providing support and expertise to schools are still around, despite the limited funding available today.  I haven't seen anything yet which suggests there has been a legacy to the English KTI programme (although I can't imagine the schools gave up completely on parental engagement post-funding), but I will share if I do.

Best wishes,
KA

Partnership teaching seems to be persisting too. I have posted the background summary and some of the videos on the CLP website. I still have all the documentation but I am currently reducing my paper mountain. If anyone was to collect it (a hefty pack) they should get in touch soon before it is recycled.
