Dear all

Colleagues in the School of Languages and Applied Linguistics at The Open University have just published a new course on OpenLearn: introducing English language studies - exploring the history of the language from the Anglo-Saxons to the age of the internet and AI, along with its use in politics, culture comedy and lots more.

If you’re not an OU student or haven’t signed up for an OpenLearn course before you will need to create an account to access the materials.

The course contains lots of interesting bitesize animations and cartoons that you may find useful not just for yourself but also for the students you teach.

Cheers,

Frank
