Good afternoon,

The Bell Foundation is currently carrying out an evaluation of the teaching resources we develop. We're asking school-based practitioners about the resources they use to support learners using EAL and what resources they would find most useful in the future. Specifically, we are looking mainstream teachers and/or teaching assistants rather than EAL specialists, so if you know a teacher or a TA who would be happy to help us out, please share this with them.

There are two ways you could help:

1 - Complete a short survey:
We have two very short surveys: one for those who are familiar with our own free EAL teaching resources, and another for those who are not familiar with them. Completing them should take about 5 minutes each.
Survey: The Bell Foundation resourcesSurvey: Evaluating The Bell Foundation’s EAL resources
Survey: Your EAL practice and needsSurvey: Your EAL practice and needs

There is an opportunity to be entered into a book token (£20) draw if you do one or both of these surveys.

2 - Focus group
This one is a reminder as it was promoted on here before. You are invited to a focus group meeting for an informal conversation so that you can share your views with us on these topics. You don't need to already be familiar with resources from The Bell Foundation.
For this, please contact Kamil Trzebiatowski (myself) at Kamil.Trz...@bell-foundation.org.uk, to arrange a suitable time by Friday 20 February 2026.

Similarly, you can be entered into the same book token draw if you participate in such a meeting.

We will be very much obliged if you are able to help us out in this project as we are keen to improve our resources, using your feedback.

Many thanks,
Kamil Trzebiatowski
(on behalf of The Bell Foundation)
