Romanian translated glossaries

[Kamil Trzebiatowski]

Does anyone have a (preferably massive :) ) collection of translated subject glossaries for secondary subjects (English, Maths, Science, Geography, Arts, Music, etc.). Or, alternatively, is there a website I don't know about where such material is downloadable? We have a growing L1-literate Romanian cohort and I need to provide them with as much L1-based support as possible for their lessons. 

I've only been able to find Romanian Maths glossary out there, but not much else.

Hi Kamil,

As well as the website that Jonathan Bifield suggested, I also have a couple of bits and pieces: Maths Glossary 3-5 Grades, Treasure Island and Dickens' A Christmas Carol but the files are too big to be attached.  I'll e-mail them to you in separate posts if you want them.

I would be very happy to post collaborative activities in Romanian if there are any currently online that you would like to be translated. I worked for a year in Bucharest a long time ago so can speak some Romanian, understand more but might need some help with writing accurately.

We are just about to post a new Dickens activity introducing Bleak House in time for the next LATE (London Association for Teaching of English) conference on Active Approaches to Teaching Literature on 30th June at the London Institute of Education. LATE conferences are very very cheap and very very high quality! This one is going to be very EAL friendly.
