Hi everyone

Does anyone have any resources to support a deaf young person from Ukraine please. I have the Bell Foundation guidance.

The child needs to learn BSL. Does anyone have any ideas about enabling that and if there are signers who have Ukrainian sign language skills who could teach him BSL?

Thanks v much!!

Kind regards

I am so sorry.

I am doing things far too quickly and did not check the subject.

Hi Tanya,
I checked this out with a colleague I work with who is a language specialist working in Deaf Education. There is a contact in Norfolk who is a deaf teacher of deaf children (Malcolm Sinclair). He works for the Norfolk Service for deaf children. You probably know the Head of Service  for deaf children (Kate....@norfolk.gov.uk).

Malcolm can teach BSL and will know people who use Ukrainian Sign Language. He might be a good contact to support in some way.
Hope some of this helps,
Yvonne
