Best IT support for EAL students in the classroom?

I’ve had a request from a school to see if there is a particular tablet or device and software package that you recommend for (literate) EAL students to use in the classroom?

 

They will be using it mainly for translation purposes.

 

If anyone can recommend anything they successfully use, it would be appreciated!
