I have used it with Secondary and Primary and it is very useful. It takes a while to do it properly but is then a good piece of evidence.
Kind regards

I would agree with Katy. I only needed to use it couple of times at secondary level, but it really was helpful.

Hi Annie
I've used it and I've found it really helpful for drawing out pupils' strengths and challenges. It can be used with children who speak any language. It does require a lot of time to complete the assessment and I'd say that is the main barrier to schools using it. If that time can be allocated, then I think it's worthwhile for the rich information you get.
Hope that helps!

Please could you let me know if you have used the ELT Well resource to support you to decide if a child is experiencing learning delays due to EAL or SEN.
Assessing multilingual people - ELT well<https://eltwell.com/dyslexia-assessment/spld-assessments-for-multilingual-people/>
Did the ELT Well resource help?
Does this cover all home languages?
Does this only assess for dyslexia?
Would you recommend this as a resource for families of schools to buy?
Many thanks

Does anyone know anything about certifying the Homes for Ukraine grant expenditure for 22/23? DLUHC was meant to issue a certification form in April, but we haven’t received anything yet.
The grant conditions state that: “Local authorities will be required to certify that they have passed on the correct amount of funding to schools or, where funding has been spent centrally, that it has been spent in line with these conditions of grant. We will issue a certification form in April 2023.” (Grant conditions are available on the website<https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/homes-for-ukraine-education-and-childcare-funding/homes-for-ukraine-education-and-childcare-grant-conditions-of-funding>.)
I know there’s a week or two left in the month, just checking I haven’t missed anything 😊
Thanks
