Exam concessions

Hello,

The concessions for the Common Entrance exam for EAL pupils (a bilingual dictionary and 10% extra time) do not apply if they have been to an International School ‘where some or the entire curriculum was delivered in English’. This is taken from the JCQ guidelines.

Several Chinese pupils have come from ‘bilingual’ schools in China, although in some cases there are still 98% Chinese pupils and only 2% International students. Does anyone know whether these pupils would still be eligible for exam concessions?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated,
