REST

Hebrews 4:9-11 (King James Version)

9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

10For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his
own works, as God did from his.

11Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall
after the same example of unbelief.



In these troubling times there is so much to be concerned about. So
much pain, loss and times when people find they are pressed beyond
belief, seemingly without mercy. Entering into God's Rest is our only
hope of refuge. Recognizing that our own abilities can not fix
everything, that life breaks us and crushes our will to fight. It
wears down all our spiritual, physical and mental resources. Totally
unable to gather ourselves, we can turn to God's Rest. Unable to save
ourselves, redeem ourselves or pick ourselves up. Unable to grieve by
ourselves, or cry anymore or see a future, we can enter into God's
Rest. God is concerned about our eternal welfare and our current
situations we are dealing with. God's love for us is our salvation
through Christ Jesus. God will be with us through our darkest moments
to comfort us and give us hope. Be sure to turn God in your times of
trial and seek a relationship with him in which you can enter into
God's Rest. We sometimes even as Christians sometimes suffer and
entering into God's Rest and depending on his comforts and trusting in
his mercy is our source of hope.

blessing upon you.
