I  live in Nigeria but one thing i know based on scripture is that righteousness exhalted a nation but sin is a reproach thereof. As long as people in governments are not surrendered to Christ their policies and actions will never glorify God. They will be  humanistic and self serving. I read a report accredited to the former poresident of America George Bush that Islam is a religion of peace. How pathetic. Those of us that live in Nigeria and cohabit with them know that Islam is demonic and has no regard for human life. How can any nation rebound when leaders are more concerned about pacifying allies than standing for the truth.
The only hope for rebound is Jesus Christ. For Nigeria. For America. For any other nation.

Many could easily question whether organized Christianity is a
religion of peace. The Crusades and other campaigns in the name of
Christianity has claimed countless lives, and insensitive Christians
have pushed away the lost with legalism, rules and failed to give
Godly love. All who practice Islam don't have a disregard for human
life and some who claim the name of Christ don't have regard for all
human life. All who practice Islam aren't demon possessed and some who
claim to be Christians are. I know to many examples of non Christians
who display more compassion than those that claim the name of Christ.
Everyone deserves to hear the truth that is in Christ. I personally
believe Christ is their only salvation, and our nation’s only
salvation. I also believe that God has given each of us the ability to
accept or reject these truths. But we must respect others right to
their belief systems and urgently try to effectively express the love
of Christ and the hope it offers! Stand for the truth in love. God
Bless!
