Whe we have the right concept of hell it will drive us to soul winning. Paul said knowing the wrath of God we complel me to repent. If there are no eternal consequences of rejection God's salvation what will be the motivation to go on missions?
I can not but agree with you

The post questioning hell was not posted by me. I fully recognize that
during my years in the Lord that I have grown and reversed my
positions on doctrinal issues as God has revealed his truths to me. I
for this reason allow others to express their opinions and pray God
will give all of us his understanding as we pray and seek him through
his word. Separation from God's love hurts in this life as well as
eternal life. I witness because I want to give the hope of the gospel
to a hurting world so that Jesus can heal their broken lives. I
believe a literal hell tis taught in scripture but I am glad the other
post sparked conversation. God Bless my brother.

REVELATION 20:

12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books
were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life:
and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the
books, according to their works.

13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell
delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every
man according to their works.

14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the
second death.

15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast
into the lake of fire.

MATTHEW 25:

40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my
brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me,
ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his
angels:

42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye
gave me no drink:

43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me
not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an
hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison,
and did not minister unto thee?

45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch
as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the
righteous into life eternal.
