Charles "Chuck" Hawkins Passes

Just learned that Charles "Chuck" Hawkins was killed in a motorcycle
accident, Tuesday, 21 September, 2010. Details are yet unknown.

Some of us will remember Chuck as "Festus," his nickname while at
Eagle Mountain High School. He is a graduating member of the the EMHS
Class of 1966, the first class to attend all four years at then new
high school.

Chuck married Susie Schroeder (EMHS Class of 1967) in 1971, and they
were together ever since.

Our sincere heart-felt condolences go to Chuck's wife Susie and his
family. He shall be missed and remembered as our friend, classmate and
fellow EMer.

When an Eagle Mountaineer dies, a piece all living EMers goes with him/
her.
