We have lost another Eagle Mountaineer: Terry Lee Carr.

Terry passed away 10 August, 2018, in Castle Dale, Utah and laid to rest 14 August, 2018, at Castle Dale Cemetery. You may view is obituary by clicking his name above.

My long time childhood friend of more than 60 years was a strong, sincere, gentle and caring person. He helped open the Eagle Mountain High School in 1962, as a member of the first Sophomore class and alumnus of the Class of 1965. Later, during the 1970's he served a president of the local school board. (I greatly Terry admire for that and more.)

Terry married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Carole Paulene Cullum, who survives him. Together they had a son, David, and a daughter, Madonna, who also survive him. He also leaves behind five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Terry served in the United States Army during the Cold War (Vietnam Era) at Fort Ord, California. Upon separation, he and his wife and son returned to Eagle Mountain where he worked for the Kaiser Steel Corp. When the mine closed, 1983, Terry took his wife and family to Castle Dale, Utah.

A portion of each EMer goes with Terry. His passing yields a void impossible to fill.  I join many others who will deeply miss Terry and cherish is delightful memory. Eagle Mountain and the world was made better by his presence.
