Revamp Suggestion for Book Club!

Hello Eager Readers!!

Melly and I have been chatting and wanted to make a proposition to the group! We were thinking this group is SO awesome that we should make it into 2 groups (feel free to be a part of both or just one - whatever you prefer!)

Group 1: dinner club - each month, a different member of the club hosts dinner. Since there are 12 of us, this amounts to hosting 1 dinner per year. Other people can bring wine! We can chat and catch up!! We can discuss how giant J Simp is getting!! Basically, just ladies night out on the town!!

Group 2: book club - we are thinking book club should be a pinch more about reading. We are suggesting no dinner - just 1 hour every other month with dessert or wine. This is more of a real book club - where we discuss the book and then everyone goes home.

I'm happy to be a key member of the dinner club. I was my sorority's Fire Marshall. I'm just saying- leadership ability. But I do hope that all of the bookworms will be a part of this club, too!

Sadly I am making the move to London semi-permanent, so won't be able to join either one. That said, if either the book or dinner versions are meeting this month, I just got into town for two weeks to do the big move, and would love to see you all!
